Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences is a magnet school with a Paideia program based on Mortimer Adler's educational philosophy. Adler believed all children are educable and deserve an excellent education. Students are expected to engage in critical thinking at all levels of their development. High School students need to engage in the highest levels of analysis, critique, and generating of idea. As they read these texts they will demonstrate their understanding through their writing as required by the Common Core Standards.
