This weed and feed attempts to provide reliable 'traveling companions' for our students. We want to take students south of the border to the fascinating countries of Mexico and Central America. To provide an integrated study of Mexico and Central American countries, we have selected from various sections of Dewey related to these countries and their history and culture. Our main focus is 972 with some pulled from 394, 917, and 600's. With each grade level we connected Common Core and AASL standards to our curricular choices.
